Bed and breakfast Villa Suzanne
CH - Saint-Gingolph
Villa Suzanne was built in the second half of the 19th century. It was first used as a boarding school for young girls from good families. Later, it belonged to Swiss painter Edouard Castres (1838-1902), who set up his painting studio here. To this end, he transformed a room at the top of the house, adding a skylight. You can admire several of his paintings on display in the house.
Villa Suzanne has a wonderful little garden overlooking the lake. You can soak up the sun in the lush green garden from the comfort of a deckchair, or even take a dip in the refreshing waters of Lake Geneva thanks to easy, direct access via a small ladder.
As Villa Suzanne is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, we chose to name the rooms after the winds that blow across the Upper Lake. The Villa has four bedrooms, one of which does not have its own bathroom and can therefore only be rented in conjunction with one of the other three. Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and basic toiletries. Wifi access is available throughout the house.
