Balade culturelle en 2cv : les grands espaces sauvages
Drôme ()
After leaving Nyons along the banks of the Eygues and the Chemin du Crapon, we enter the village of Les Pilles via a narrow passage between the first houses, before climbing up to Montaulieu, a perched village as its name suggests.
Rather than take the small road at the bottom of the valley, we prefer the track from the hamlet of Saint-Aubanet, which we follow past the village to the Col des Lentons at 742 m altitude. Here, in the heart of nature, a change of scenery is guaranteed.
From the pass, the trail continues on to the Serre de Chante Perdrix where, at the bend in the road, we suddenly discover the beauty of the small village of Rochebrune and the vastness of the Ennuyé valley and its diversity of agricultural production (cherries, apricots, almonds, cereals, lavender, linden, wine and livestock). A stopover at the Gardiole farm allows you to discover all these products with a particularly warm welcome.
The walk continues through several hamlets and villages in the valley. We're in the heart of a land rich in history and know-how, and you won't forget the names of these Provencal communes: Besignan, Saint-Sauveur-Gouvernet, Bellecombe-Tarendol, Le Poët-Sigillat and of course Sainte-Jalle. We then follow the course of the Ennuyé river to its junction with the Eygues, which we also follow on the left bank through Curnier. Finally, it's time to return to "civilization" and the heart of Nyons.
All year round.
