With almost 10 000 runners taking off at the starting line last year, this year’s limited place 59th edition of the mystical night run from Saint-Etienne to Lyon promises to be the ultimate challenge for competitors. This Ultra marathon is unique, an elite race with a sense of adventure. After almost 60 years this has become the cult runner’s rendezvous of the winter in which all running enthusiasts and trekkers must participate. The SaintéLyon is an awe-inspiring midnight run that captures the runner’s mind, body and spirit. Help us illuminate the Monts du Lyonnais (Lyon Mountains) and the hearts of each and every person running beside you. You are sure to experience a sense of pure magic that has been evident ever since the debut of this event, leaving people running back year after year no matter the weather. Due to overwhelming demand and in order to please you, we have developed some exciting new additions to this year’s event. Now, it's your turn to leave one's print on the big story of this magical race. Running during the night of SaintLyon, it's different !
