Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, the historic cradle of mountaineering, will be the place where all those who are passionate about the mountains will gather to take part in the Arc'teryx Alpine Academy 2022, the world's largest mountain education event. For its 11th edition, from June 30 to July 3, 2022, the event is back on the summit with lots of new features, where everyone will be able to progress in the mountains, be inspired by the best, and share experiences between enthusiasts during numerous festive moments.

Arc'teryx Alpine Academy will continue to offer a wide range of workshops led by the best mountain guides in the Mont Blanc massif and Chamonix valley. World-class athletes will accompany some of these workshops. In addition to the workshops, this year the Academy will offer an exceptional sound experience at altitude with a top-notch eclectic music program!

The Arc'teryx Alpine Academy is also the Alpine Village, open to all. This 'base camp' of the event, set up on the Place du Triangle in Chamonix, will offer initiations on a bouldering wall, artistic performances and moments of conviviality around a lounge and a pop-up bar. A stage and its big screen will be the scene of world premieres of mountain films, expert master classes, and live DJ sets. Admission will be free and open to all!

For those who wish to perfect their knowledge of technical products, Arc'teryx is offering a behind-the-scenes look at the brand. A dedicated area will reveal the process of creating cutting-edge products: from R&D to manufacturing and testing of new Arc'teryx products. It will be possible to learn about the mechanisms for giving products a second life through recycling, maintenance and repair initiatives. Also in the Alpine Village, the Gear Library will allow visitors to borrow some of the best equipment and test it for the day in the field in alpine conditions.
