Anes et Flore - Cascade du Pissieu

Description

For this outing, the choice of terrain means it can be adapted from cycle 2 to cycle 3. Motivated guides leading the discovery activities, the succession of different natural environments and the presence of donkeys make this a dynamic day out.
The outing enabled the children to familiarize themselves with the donkeys and discover the wealth of flora in this small valley: an excellent way to learn about biodiversity. The arrival at the waterfall and resurgence will punctuate the day with a beautiful geological curiosity.

9:30 am: Welcome at Lescheraine lake. Groups divided into two workshops (10 to 15 children per "Donkey" or "Flora" workshop, groups reversed in the afternoon).

10 a.m.: Start of activities (snack at 11 a.m.)
Donkey group:
- Presentation of the donkeys, safety and driving tips.
- Brushing and tarping, loading of picnics.
- Hiking departure. Children take turns leading the donkeys.

Flora" group:
- Introduction to natural meadows and mixed forests.
- Discover all your senses: see, touch, smell and taste.
- From the most common to the rarest, each plant has its own history or traditional use.
- Creation of an imaginary flower and naturalistic drawing.

12:30 pm: Packed picnic.

2pm: Reversal of groups and discovery of the waterfall site.

3:45pm: Snack.

4.30pm: Departure from the Pissieu parking lot.

Compris : - supervision by one or more EN-approved BE mountain leaders,
- supervision by donkey drivers. The donkey workshop is run with one animal for a dozen children.

The price is calculated on the basis of a minimum of 26 children.
