ANENA Avalanche Rescue Maurienne niv. 1+2 1 day
Chef-lieu
You want to relearn, review or learn how to effectively rescue an avalanche victim if you ski tour, snowshoe, ski or snowboard off-piste, or if you travel as part of your professional activities.
These courses are designed for you, and are offered to help you master the use of avalanche transceiver (DVA) and shovel-probe rescue equipment, as well as methods for searching for, locating and freeing buried victims.
During practical sessions in the field, all the particularities of using avalanche transceivers, probes and shovels will be precisely addressed.
The method of searching for and rescuing people, often family members or friends, will be described and put into practice in groups of 2, using real-life scenarios.
It's up to you to intervene first and save the people in your group or nearby hikers.
These are the essential rescue techniques for all sporting activities in snow-covered mountains.
Several levels of acquisition are part of a progression, so you'll be able to intervene effectively when the time is right.
The training is based on internationally recognized methods and knowledge derived from continuous improvement.
Every year, the Association Nationale pour l'Étude de la Neige et des Avalanches (ANENA) trains its certified instructors for one or more days of theory and practice, before they take part in the training courses on offer.
