98ème Marché aux Vins du Beaujolais, Mâconnais, Chalonnais
Fleurie
The Wine Market is an event steeped in history since the first market was held in 1925. It was then reserved for the cru Fleurie, then extended to the Crus Beaujolais, Mâconnais and Côte Chalonnaise.
The visitors to the market were the merchants from Lyon who came to buy the "new" wines. The sale of the wine was candle auction.
Today, the wine market always attracts wine professionals with a large majority of lovers of wines. This is "the Beaujolais and Mâconnais wine market". More than 40 exhibitors are present to offer the public wines of character with older vintages.
In 2008, the market opened up to gastronomy with the setting up of a book fair. This event wanted to seduce the usual customers of the market and lovers of gastronomy and beautiful books.
In 2010, the exhibition offers old and modern books with the presence of booksellers.
In 2012: the book fair welcomes about twenty authors from the regions Bresse, Beaujolais, Burgundy.
