Hôtel de l'Abbaye
Lyon ème
The Hôtel de l’Abbaye, which is housed in a former Ainay presbytery, has been converted into a delightful 4* boutique hotel in the heart of the Presqu’île. Half-way between the prestigious Place Bellecour and Perrache train station, this historic location was built as a family home.
Collaborating closely at all times, the owner Arthur Laeuffer and the Lyon decorators Maison Hand wanted to showcase and modernize the building’s exceptional historic charm, providing twenty-one beautifully-decorated rooms spread over three floors, featuring both contemporary designer items and family heirloom furniture. With an uninterrupted view of the Ainay basilica, our rooms are unique and every one of our “Signature” Junior Suites comes with a charming corner salon.
The Hôtel de l’Abbaye café is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and its 45-seat restaurant, L’Artichaut, from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, in an authentic and intimate setting.
Café Basilic sets the pace for your day. Whether it's breakfast time with a hot chocolate from Sève Chocolats, a snack with a Chaï latte or an aperitif with a cocktail, you'll find what you're looking for.
Open all year round.
