Crémieu
Isabelle carries on a tradition of craftsmanship inherited from her family. Fascinated by the finesse of this art, she uses rye straw, wood, metal and polymer clay to create jewellery, decorative objects and paintings.
Each piece is meticulously crafted, combining tradition and modernity to appeal to lovers of antique objects and contemporary art alike.
In her workshop-boutique based in the medieval town of Crémieu, she shares her expertise and invites visitors to discover this fascinating world.
Every Monday, she offers introductory workshops, a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in this art form and express your creativity using noble, authentic materials.
Heir to a tradition handed down by my grandfather, a cabinetmaker and music box designer, I grew up surrounded by noble materials and a deep respect for manual work.
It was when I discovered the finesse and elegance of straw marquetry that I found my means of expression.
Today, I combine rye straw, wood, metal and sometimes polymer clay to create unique and original designs in my workshop in Crémieu.
