Hôtel Pointe Isabelle
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
The concept for this hotel is based on one of the best stories in women's mountaineering, that of Isabelle Straton. This woman made the 1st winter ascent of Mont Blanc in 1875 with her guide Jean Esteril Charlet Straton (who later became her husband).
Her granddaughter opened this hotel in Chamonix, which she named "Pointe Isabelle" in homage to her grandmother.
Inside the hotel, you'll discover elements of Isabella and Jean Esteril's story.
La Pointe Isabelle has 72 spacious, comfortable rooms, most with balconies and views of Mont Blanc or the Chamonix mountains.
