Downhill bike training sessions

Description

The school organises introductory courses for beginners as well as courses for experienced mountain bikers who wish to improve their skills.

Discovery DH bike (2h)
2 hours of practice with an instructor to discover the bikepark and the basics of downhill mountain biking technique, then you continue the practice on your own.
- Become autonomous on the downhill itineraries of the Chamrousse Bike Park
- Learn the basic position on the DH/Enduro mountain bike
- Discover mobility on the mountain bike
- Discover braking
- Improve trajectories on mountain bike trails
- Taking steep turns
- Learn to read the terrain...
- Use the ski lifts
- Ride on green to blue downhill trails

Discovering DH mountain biking (3h)
3 hours of continuous practice with a mountain bike instructor.
- The objectives are the same as the "2h discovery" mountain bike outing and you are accompanied by the guide for 3h.

Advanced DH MTB (3h)
3 hours of practice with a mountain bike instructor.
- Perfect your general position on the mountain bike
- Learn how to balance on the mountain bike
- Manage braking according to the situation and the particularities of the course
- Learn to make the first jumps
- Improve trajectories
- Optimise speed in the bike park
- Understand the notions of commitment
- Progress on blue to red downhill tracks

Sustainable tourism

Mountain biking is a sport rooted in respect, not only for other mountain bikers but also for nature and the environment (signs, markers, no waste).

My first name is Franck, I am a mountain bike instructor and I always take as much pleasure to make you discover this activity of downhill biking "VTT DH" through the beautiful Bike park of Chamrousse.
My objectives are to give you the desire to start again and to improve your techniques for more pleasure.

Ouverture

From 24/06 to 03/07/2024, every Saturday and Sunday.
Subject to weather conditions and gondola opening.

From 04/07 to 01/09/2024, daily.
On reservation.

Tarifs

One price: from 220 € (This price includes 2 half-days supervised by a state-qualified instructor + rental of a Scott Gambler mountain bike + full-face helmet + full-face vest + knee pads + gloves.).


The Chamrousse MCF school offers a variety of courses:

- Downhill mountain biking courses from 1 to 4 days for beginners and advanced riders.

- Special "2-WHEEL" courses to vary the pleasures:
Day 1: All-terrain scooter discovery: €59
Day 2: Introduction to electric-assist mountain biking: €59
Day 3: Touring or perfecting electric-assist mountain biking: 79€.
Day 4: Downhill mountain biking with Ranson model: €119
Day 4: Discovering downhill mountain biking with Gambler model: €139
