Hiking trail "Les Alpages Enchantés"

Description

The "Enchanted Pastures" trail takes you into a world of dreams, pleasure, and enchantment.
But who is this character?...Could it by any chance be Merlin the wizard?
Yes, it is him! At the top of Montalbert gondola you will discover a path that takes you into the wonderful world of fairyland.
All along the route you will come across curious characters (carved with a chainsaw) and information boards that will teach you the fabulous tales and legends of our mountains.
Access: with a pedestrian ticket for Montalbert gondola.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Start from the top of Montalbert gondola
1/ Follow the signs down towards the reservoir, then back up towards Prajourdan alpine pastures
2/ After passing the chalets, you will come to a small lake where you will see the start of the footpath to your right.
3/ Follow the wooden sculptures and the accompanying signposts. You will go back down into the forest before arriving just below the top of the gondola where the path comes out.

4/ You will have to join the gravel track again to walk back up to the top of Le Fornelet.
