The Roof Vercors

Description

The Roof Vercors is a climbing gym with two disciplines from age 3: route climbing (roped) and bouldering (mat landing).
It's also a bar/snack bar, a venue for events (exhibitions, concerts, film screenings, conferences, etc.), training (on artificial structures and natural sites in climbing, caving, canyoning and mountaineering), experience-sharing and preparation of mountain outings.

Climbing is an all-round sport, involving many different muscle groups and abilities: strength, balance, observation, visualization, concentration and memory.

The bouldering area :
Over fifty boulders divided into 6 difficulty levels.

Novices and experienced climbers alike will find boulders to suit their abilities. There's no need for a belay rope, and bouldering requires no special equipment apart from a pair of slippers. The height of the climbing wall is limited to 4.50 m, and thick mats ensure a safe landing.

The boulders designed by our team of openers are constantly renewed, so there's never a dull moment! We make it a point of honor to adapt boulders to each climber's morphology, and to remain creative by always proposing new boulders, so as to constantly discover new techniques.

Are you a beginner? This space doesn't require any special training. Our team will be on hand to help you discover this wonderful activity!

Children's area
The children's area is designed to be fun, with specially adapted areas and courses to help children gain self-confidence and learn about heights (high hut, slide, etc.).
This leisure area welcomes you 7 days a week, without reservation. From 4 to 12 years old, let your children climb in a specially adapted area dedicated to the very young.
Your children remain your responsibility.

The children's area may be reserved for private use. Please consult the occupation schedule

Youngsters in the climbing school, and teenagers over 12, can climb with the grown-ups at any time!

From 01/09 to 31/12/2024
Opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 11.30 am and 10.30 pm. On Wednesday and Saturday between 10 am and 10.30 pm. On Sunday between 9 am and 8 pm.
