There's nothing like a preserved environment to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our planet.
This trip will enable your students to understand the recycling process, to recover and reduce waste in order to limit the impact of our lifestyle on the planet, and to learn how to preserve natural resources... This trip takes place in the respect of nature and its biodiversity to discover a preserved environment in the heart of a tourist resort.
The stay is punctuated by field trips: a visit to an educational sorting center and a local waste collection center, a nature outing in the forest, a waste collection operation in the forest...
Through debates and role-playing, children express their questions, come up with solutions and consolidate their knowledge base. They'll create an illustrated quiz to test their knowledge and that of their parents. Your students will continue their learning in class, thanks to the teaching materials provided by OVAL: posters, explanatory diagrams, films...
Your students will develop the following skills
- acquire knowledge and develop reasoned, responsible behavior towards the environment,
- put into practice simple environmental eco-management actions,
- understand the life cycle of an object: production, consumption, disposal, sorting, collection, transformation or destruction...
- make the link between the object and its raw material,
- become aware of the effects of waste,
- understand the concepts of recycling, decomposition, recovery and storage.
