Journans, a village nestled at the foot of the Revermont mountains, has a lot to tell. How has this ancient village of peasant winegrowers survived through the ages? That's what this guided tour is all about. Start by strolling through the lower part of the village and its well-integrated landscaping; then slip along the grassy paths to discover the other side of the story: the gardens. Pass through the old village: the stone dwellings of the cavets, stop off at Saint Vincent church (built in the 18th century). On the heights, take in the beautiful vistas, wooded slopes, a few acres of vines and a view of the perched Saint Valérien chapel surrounded by its cemetery. Finish with a local aperitif at the source of the Reyssouze and its washhouse. A journey that will give you a real feel for what, over the course of its history, has forged the distinctive identity of Journans today. In partnership with the Association "Sauvegarde de Saint Vincent", with the participation of honorary architect Bruno Lugaz. Reservations required.
