What to see and do around the Tourist Office?
The historic centre, located on the hilltop of Clermont-Ferrand, unfolds around the Gothic cathedral built of lava stone. Terraces of cafés and restaurants rub shoulders with antique shops, second-hand dealers, contemporary art galleries, second-hand booksellers and historic monuments such as the Romanesque basilica of Notre-Dame du Port, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.
