Via ferrata and unusual routes

Aussois

Description

A via ferrata is a mountain route designed for beginners: it is a general public activity aimed at all those able to climb a ladder.

Via ferrata are practicable all year round, depending on weather conditions.

There are via ferrata of different types and of different levels but all have in common the use of a cable, the lifeline, on which the ferratist "clips" to make sure. The development of practitioners takes place in a steep, sometimes aerial environment.
The rocky parts are usually equipped with ladder rungs sealed into the rock. Sometimes there are walkways, monkey bridges or other types of fun workshops.

Via ferrata offered as group outings:

- Cherubs: for little ones, children from 1m10.
- Les Diablotins: for little beginners, children from 1.20m.
- La Traversée des Anges: for very beginners.
- La Montée au Ciel: for great beginners.
- La Traversée des Anges + Ascent to Heaven: for great beginners.
- Pontamafrey part 1: for great beginners.
- Descent to Hell + Ascent to Purgatory: for initiates.
- Complete tour: for the initiated, the specialty of the guides office.
- Le Grand Vallon, Valfréjus: for the initiated.
- The Three Wise Men: for the confirmed.
- Ascent to Heaven + The Three Wise Men: for the confirmed.

Unusual routes, specially designed for you by the guides office:
- The Gardens of Eden: an alpine course located in the extraordinary canyon of the Devil's Gorges. Zip line, via cordata, reminder: a new and different atmosphere for a logical extension of the Via Ferrata activity.
- The Secret Gorges of Plan d’Aval: a fun and original route with private access. A short walk with the possibility of seeing marmots and then it's the adventure ... You will cross a cliff and then go up along a magnificent stream to the Plan d'Aval dam.
- Sollières Alpine Course: a fun course for children and their parents where you get into the bowels of the rock thanks to abseiling, climbing on logs, crossing faults ...
