Access to the cross-country ski resort of La Ruchère- Gîte la Ruche à Giter: On the main road between St-Christophe-sur-Guiers and St-Pierre-d’Entremont (D520c), take the road up to La Ruchère. Park on the big carpark at the cross-country ski resort.
(1) From the carpark, in front of the cross-country ski resort, take the path on your right to «Col de la Sariette» and «Les Riondettes». This marked path goes inside the forest towards north-west. After 300 m, you meet a forest track, which you follow on the left. You are heading south-west towards the «Rochers du Quartier». After a short way up, do not follow the path on the right and keep going straight, still on the marked path. After the logging, the track is getting narrower.
(2) When you reach 1 200 m height, the path gets wider. Take a wide bend on the left and then a bend going down on the right. The path goes up again and brings you to the «Rochers du Quartier» (rocky bar that you overhang). Do not take the track on your left. You meet a junction (Forêt du Quartier). Keep going on your right to «Col de la Sariette» and «Les Riondettes». Let the path on your left and follow the sign «Belvédère de Pertuis».
(3) There, enjoy a wide view over the Guiers river valley, St-Laurent-du-Pont and La Grande Sure. Leave the belvedere and follow a small path on the left.
(4) A small way up leads you near the col de la Sariette. Follow «Les Riondettes» and «Centre nordique par la Morte». A small path between the rocks leads you to a track that goes down to Les Riondettes’ carpark. Take north on the road for about 20 m and take the path on your right (to «La Morte»). After a small bridge, keep going along the small watercourse to the «Centre nordique». Cross the «Pré de la Morte» to join a track that goes along the rocks in front of you.
(5) Keep going towards north and take the small path going up on your right (yellow signs) until Cernay, where you find the GR de Pays Tour de Chartreuse (yellow and red signs). Keep going on your left to «Centre nordique». Near the rocky bars, the path goes down on your left. It keeps going north, along a forest track until the Centre nordique de la Ruchère.

Balisage : Des panneaux de départ sont disposés dans les villages aux points de stationnement ou d'accueil du public.
Pour suivre votre itinéraire, des poteaux sont mis en place sur les carrefours et identifiables par une plaque indiquant son nom et l'altitude.
Entre deux poteaux, du balisage à la peinture jalonnent le cheminement à suivre ou pas. Vous pourrez également être guidés par des petits panneaux de jalonnement.
