Frère Anthèlme's fabulous voyage
Le Châtelard
Group visit followed by a team game to discover the Chartreuse d'Aillon and the rural heritage of the Massif des Bauges.
Initially, students are immersed in a historical journey told by a character - real or fictional...? - who lived at the Chartreuse d'Aillon in the 12th century: Brother Anthelme.
This intriguing character then guides the students, divided into teams, through a great game within the Chartreuse d'Aillon. Teams try to win the game by answering questions about life in the Bauges massif. By accumulating points, they may discover the treasure of the Chartreuse d'Aillon monastery!
Course of the day:
Welcome by Frère Anthelme at the Chartreuse d'Aillon.
1h visit to the site: key information for the board game to come will be revealed to the students, between stories and legends.
1h game with Frère Anthelme: team building, game rules and game play on a human-sized board.
This 2-hour activity can take place in the morning or afternoon. Allow around 2h30 on site (2h of activities and 30min for welcome and departure).
