Château Bellevue - Morgon
Bellevue
A 19th-century residence of character overlooking the village of Villié-Morgon, in the heart of the Beaujolais wine region, it was once home to one of the children of the Lumière brothers, as well as Princess Lieven, née Chateaubriand.
The Château Bellevue vineyard covers 18 hectares. The Château's vines are cultivated with the utmost respect for the ecological balance of the soils, using a sustainable viticulture approach.
The Château is set in over 3 hectares of magnificent English-style parkland. Treed with rare and century-old species
(araucaria, weeping cedar, etc.), it offers a magnificent view over the Beaujolais region. A special discovery trail has been set up, and you can find the names of the trees engraved on the staves.
If you would like to stay at the Château, we have 5 refined guest rooms to welcome you.
Château Bellevue was awarded the national prize for "Best Welcome in the Vineyards" by the Revue du Vin de France in 2024.
We offer wine-tasting tours all year round by appointment, but our wine-tourism activities can be tailored to your requirements.
