Visit to GAEC des Ardoisiers - A day of immersion

Description

Program:
The visit begins at 9 a.m. with a welcome drink and a presentation of the farm.
At 9:30 am, departure for a 1-hour hike to take part in herd supervision.
At 12pm, cheese tasting followed by free time for a picnic and a visit to the village of Mont-Denis.
Return to the farm at 4pm for a complimentary snack, followed by a choice of milking or cheese-making workshop.
End of day at around 5:30pm.

Water and good shoes mandatory, bring a picnic.

Host portrait

Pascal and Ginou are the parents of 3 children: Benoit, Sébastien and Pauline.
They have been farmers for over twenty years. Their daughter Pauline is taking over the business: she is training to be a farmer and then setting up with them. Benoît, the eldest, is in the army, and Sébastien does winter work. When they're at home with Pascal and Ginou, they're always on hand to help out. A family of enthusiasts who know how to pass on their know-how.

Tarifs

Adult: 40 €, Child (7-12 years): 20 €.

Free entry for children < 7 years.
