The Croix de Chamrousse site is a mountain launch with 2 orientations, North and West. The site is located at the top of the Chamrousse resort at an altitude of 2250 m.
- Ideal conditions:
○ 0 to 10 km/h (beginner pilots) and 10 to 25 km/h (expert pilots). Dangers in strong winds.
○ Favourable winds: N;SE;S;SW;W;NW
- Flying season: April to October from 7:30 a.m. to late evening (9 p.m.).
- Flying periods: spring summer winter
- Landings : Uriage
○ Repose at the summit possible
○ Landing available at 3.5 glide ratio
○ Grand Champ station below aiguille take-off - West to North - 1650 m
○ La Richardière - St Martin d'Uriage - West - 550 m (horses, site to visit before flight)
- Gradual slope
Gondola access possible in winter and summer, depending on opening days and times.
