'Les Chambres de l'Escale' with swimming pool and well-being area is the ideal place for a stopover in the Beaujolais, at heart of the vineyards producing famous wines. Valérie and Franck, already hosts with a Gîte for 4 people labeled since 2013, have renovated another part of their former wine property to provide 2 beautiful and tastefully decorated guest rooms. On the ground floor: large living room reserved for guests, opening onto a terrace with beautiful view of the vineyards. This room is equipped with a wood-burning stove and air conditioning and has a dining area (for guests to have breakfasts and dinners) and a lounge area. Upstairs : 'Fleurie' and 'St Amour' rooms, each one with a 160 x 200cm double bed, connected TV and private shower room and Wc. Warm welcome assured. Guests may enjoy the table d'hôtes meals cooked by Valérie, based on local traditional recipes with local or garden products, and taste the Beaujolais wines produced in the village. Picnic baskets can be provided on request too. Outdoors : large courtyard (parking area), swimming pool available in summer (8m X 4m X 1.45m, above ground, shared with owners and gite). Well-being area with indoor six-seater jacuzzi, washbasin and shower available on request with extra charge of 20€/person for 1H30 use (bathrobe provided). Play area for children, grounds shared with owners. All accommodation (gîte + the 2 guest rooms) can be booked for a family gathering (8 people in total).
