Modern, fun, elegant and energy-efficient, the Cap'Azur aquatic centre has become a must for water-lovers. It's managed by the "Privas Centre Ardèche" conurbation authority. It's located at the start of the Voie douce de La Payre, in the heart of the town of Privas, in the old station area.
The Cap'Azur aquatic centre is open to the landscape, with multiple viewpoints and exceptional light. It offers several indoor and outdoor areas:
- a 375m² indoor sports pool with seating for 130 people
- a 160m² indoor learning pool
- a 312m² outdoor pool
- a pentagliss with 4 lanes
- a 150m² splash pad
Information and instructions:
- Swimmers must wear a swimming costume (shorts, bermuda shorts, boxer shorts, bodysuits, etc. are strictly forbidden).
- Swimmers must wash their hands and take a soapy shower before entering the water.
- Bathing caps must be worn in the pools.
- Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children under 3 must wear a nappy.
- Complete evacuation of the pool 20 minutes before closing time (30 minutes before closing time during the summer school holidays).
- The ticket office closes 45 minutes before closing time (1 hour before closing time during school summer holidays).
- Lockers are fitted with coin-operated locks: a €1 coin must be used to lock a locker (returned when the locker is opened). Any lost key will be billed at €5.
- Smoking is prohibited in all areas (inside and outside).

Closed exceptionally on Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, November 1st and November 11th.
During school time:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12pm to 1:30pm and from 5pm to 7:30pm.
- Wednesday and Saturday from 2pm to 7:30pm.
- Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
During school holidays in academic zone A (except summer school holidays):
- Monday to Saturday from 2pm to 7:30pm.
- Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
During the summer school holidays:
(from July 6 to September 1st, 2024):
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm (leaving the pool at 7:30 pm)
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: from 11 am to 7 pm (leaving the pool at 6:30 pm).
Closed on public holidays (except during the summer school holidays), and during the Christmas holidays (technical closure).
Tarifs
Free entry for children < 3 years.
Single admission :
- Adult / standard rate: €3.50.
- Adults / reduced rate*: €2.50.
- Children aged 3 to 17: €2.
- Children under 3: free.
- Groups**: €2 per person.
- Special "Vigilance orange canicule" rate (according to Météo France's classification of the département): €2 (free for children under 3).
Pass (12-ticket card including 2 free tickets):
- Adult / standard rate: €35.
- Adult / reduced rate*: €25.
- Children aged 3 to 17: €20.
* reduced rate applied (on presentation of valid proof) to beneficiaries of ASPA, RSA or AAH, asylum seekers, job seekers and students.
** rate reserved for leisure centres and holiday camps, for a minimum of
a minimum of 8 tickets.
