Dominated by two major buildings in the city's history, the former courthouse and the collegiate church of Saint-André, it is also home to the Café de la Table Ronde, Grenoble's oldest bistro, and one of the oldest in France...it opened in 1739! In this majestic setting, the square is particularly lively and animated, especially on summer evenings.
